Dashboard shows Scan Pending even after scan runs (Chogan)

Agent scans keep showing same updates needed after remediation (mwaters911)
After remediation, clients often take a very long time to initiate a re-scan, if at all. Seeing that it looks like the scan is not going to happen I go ahead and right-click on the client>SCAN>Refresh Information to start an agent scan.
